About National Adoption Week

National Adoption Week occurs every year in the third week of October. This year it will take place from Monday 17th October to Sunday 23rd October. The objective of the week is to bring about a better level of awareness about adoption and how communities can support the adopted child and their family.

Get involved in events during NAW 2022

Friday Sermon/ Khutbah to talk about why adoption is so important (21st October) - This year we are asking Mosques to do a khutbah regarding the importance of adoption and re-shaping attitudes around the modern face of adoption. The theme this year is Reshaping Attitudes. National Adoption Week this year is an opportunity for us to shine a light on wider relationships that are forged when a child is adopted and how you can support.
